As we age, the likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease rises. In addressing this issue, some medical practitioners are turning to alternative therapies like Plaquex and EDTA chelation to assist patients in clearing their circulatory systems of plaque and "bad" LDL cholesterol associated with heart disease. Plaquex, a mixture of phospholipids derived from soybeans developed initially in Europe, has gained significant popularity there. This treatment is frequently combined with chelation therapy, effectively removing heavy metals from the body through the kidneys. Plaquex is believed to offer a range of beneficial effects, including reducing angina, decreasing LDL cholesterol levels, increasing levels of "good" HDL cholesterol, lowering lipoprotein A, enhancing sexual potency, reducing high blood pressure, improving kidney function, and lowering homocysteine levels.
